Transforming Legacy Systems.
It's easy to build from scratch. It's much harder to untangle a decade of technical debt or fix legacy systems.
I identify the blockers and provide a clear roadmap for your team to fix them.

The $3M Revenue Engine
Director of Search Strategy
The Challenge
The infrastructure was optimized for News, which wasn't suited for the new business-line. Evergreen 'Best-of' lists were decaying rapidly due to incorrect freshness signals, and valuable editorial hours were wasted manually fetching rate data.
The Intervention
I engineered a dedicated set of templates distinct from the News stack and established a data partnership (Curinos) to automate the rate-fetching pipeline. I also deployed programmatic internal linking modules to establish topical authority and link equity distribution.

Stabilizing a 50-Domain Network
Sr. Technical SEO Analyst
The Challenge
Core Web Vitals emerged as a ranking factor with no internal playbook. The WordPress multisite network was cluttering the Critical Rendering Path (CRP) across 50+ domains, while the newly acquired edX platform faced parallel performance hurdles without a unified defense strategy.
The Intervention
I pioneered the organization's CWV defense strategy. I directly engineered the CRP cleanup for the multisite network and served as the technical consultant for the edX engineering team—guiding them to implement strict asset prioritization and instituting a defensive review protocol to prevent regression.

The Live Lab
The Challenge
Proving that the 'Input-First' thesis holds water when stripped of all legacy constraints.
The Intervention
A fully automated 'Data-as-Product' engine. This serves as my control group—demonstrating the velocity that is possible when data architecture is prioritized over manual operations.
